Veganism: the solution to sustainable capitalism?

Warwick Think Tank is delighted to welcome Loui Blake for our first talk of the academic year on Veganism & sustainable capitalism. In a time where the issue of resources and its scarcity is coming into sharper and clearer focus, there is a growing movement believing that Veganism can be a solution for a system that remains capitalist, but is sustainable too.
Loui is a vegan entrepreneur, activist & speaker who works with a wide array of ethical entrepreneurs and startups.
Loui will be speaking from 6pm onwards in S0.13 in the social sciences building on Thursday the 12th of October.
Religion and public sphere: a round table

We are happy to host a discussion-like event on the relation between religion and the public sphere. Steven Kettell will start the evening with an overview of the different dynamics of the debate and Zac from the Jewish Society and Hassan from the Islamic Society will complete the discussion by sharing how they live their faith in the UK.

We will host a promising event in collaboration with Warwick Black Out to discuss one of the most important issues today: how can we achieve sustainability and long-term strategies to deal with climate change?
The conference will be held in S0.18, come along to hear our speaker from UK's largest investor in solar farm: Octopus Energy.
